I'm glad you're looking into alternatives, and I'm really glad you're taking your dh with you to the appt. If you're anything like me, you'll be more self assured and self protective (can't think of another way to say that
) with him there. Maybe your dr. will surprise you.

I would guess that one of two things was going on. Maybe she was just humoring you, or maybe she has a different idea of what a natural birth is (or some of both).

This would concern me. Going to 41 weeks isn't even uncommon. A due date could easily be off by a week or two (sometimes more). And 41 weeks, in and of itself, is no reason at all to induce. It seems to indicate that the reason for the biophysical profiles was to collect "evidence" for induction. I hope you hear from the midwife soon.
