Toothpaste Ingredients List

I need to buy more toothpaste since we're getting low. Currently we are using Tom's of Maine and Kiss My Face, both of which contain ingredients I'm not comfortable with. So I've been looking for a new toothpaste. I like the looks of Weleda's Plant Gel toothpaste but would love feedback on the ingredients list. Is there anything there that I wouldn't want in my toothpaste?

Ingredients: water, vegetable glycerine, lemon juice (form biodynamically grown lemons), guar gum, krameria extract, myrth extract, ammonium glycyrthizate (from licorice root), natural oils (peppermint oil, spearmint oil, star anise oil and menthol crystals, sage oil, eucalyptus oil, geranium oil, lavender oil, clove oil).

People are picky here - you're going to get somebody coming in and telling you the harmful effects of glycerine on your teeth.

I checked the Skin Deep Report database and the ingredients look fine. Some say that they haven't been assessed for safety. You can see the other Weleda toothpastes here (the one you mentioned wasn't evaluated).

My kids use Weleda Children's Tooth Gel. They like it a lot and I don't see anything in it that would be a problem.

Not sure about the plant get toothpaste that you mentioned. Looks fine to me.

Thanks everyone. Tina, I had already checked EWG but didn't know if anyone here would know more about some of the unevaluated ingredients. Thanks for the link, though. I read EWG's reports before buying anything these days.
