I was wondering how many of you have blogs. Do you just us them to post about projects or are they about your day to day life. I was thinking of having one for projects. I wouldn't feel completely comfortable w/one that was too personal.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I have a craft blog. It started as a knitting blog but as I have learned to sew it has contained those projects as well. The cool thing about craft blogs is that they can be very personal or not personal at all. There are some blogs I read that have nothing but project pics and information, and I love those. And there are other blogs I read that have at least as much personal stuff as project stuff, and I love those too. As for me, I do a mix.
Also, if you do decide to do a blog, there is an MDC blogring for crafty mamas. It's mostly knitters but when we first started it in February we liked the idea of including any MDC craftsters. We just never really advertised it outside of our forum. You can check it out on the yarn crafts forum (or you can go to my knitting blog and click the button for the ring).
Hope you decide to do it. I'm always looking for more sewing blogs to read!

I don't have a blog - I'm not a fast enough knitter or cross stitcher to have enough to post of interest (even to me!) but I love reading them. But I just clicked on both your knitting blog and your seven things links, Stacey, and I wanted to say that I think they are fantastic! I love that gorgeous shawl (and your pictures - you are so pretty) and the seven things idea is wonderful - I think I will incorporate it into my life. I never liked FlyLady's 27 items boogie either. Not to hijack this thread, but I had to give you a drive-by compliment!
Sabrina, good luck on whatever blog you decide to do!

I'm a newbie at blogging. For quite a while I've enjoyed looking at other peoples blogs. Then this summer I create my own knitting blog and I've been having so much fun with it. I post mostly about knitting, but I do throw a few other things in there, too. I definitely encourage you to give it a try. You really just post when you can and just have fun with it. I know I am.
Good luck!
Good luck!

I have my sewing blog in my sig. It's just stuff I've sewn, and once I finish a knitting project, I'll add some of that, too. I don't put personal stuff in it.
