Aw, HBM, hang in there, mama.

I'll sulk with ya if you think it'll move things along.

Aw, thanks. Here's what I'm doing: Put on your best pouty mouth-stick the bottom lip out really far and stomp a lot.
Dh is sick so it looks like "natural induction" is out. I'm so desperate I even told him we could just do it quick and not kiss. Pretty darned romantic, huh? :

HBM hang in there. i hope things pick up for you soon.

Monikita, Karen's language was very similar to what you describe. Livi isn't even 2 yet, right? Karen would also clamp down hard if you ever did the "can you say...?" pressure. I can't remember now when she did start talking, but now she won't shut up. I'll go back through my notes when I get home to see when we started seeing more words. I'm thinking it was about 26 months, right after her last molar came through.

Amara (wawoof) and I had our dingo run this morning! I really held her back. I was pushing 1 jogger with 19 pounds of baby, and Amara was pushing a double with substantially more kid mass. I took her on a 3.75 mile route, but all in all, I think we probably ran 2.5 miles or so. My legs just gave out.

Amara, if you've got the email space, I'm happy to send you full resolution copies of all the pictures (about 10).

I felt a bit like 1jooj's husband and invited the woof clan over to my parent's house for lunch. It was great to have more of a visit!

LOL-Eksmom, we're going tomorrow! My SIL tried it and started labor about 72 hours later. She never went back for her free meal, though.
We bought some eggplant parmesan at Costco, too.

You ladies crack me up.
HBM, I'll be thinking of you!

I just wanted to post quick to let everyone know that I am around and still reading. I am also working out, but will update with more of that later (when I have time). For now I"m subbing.

HBM -I was going to suggest some pesto, that is what got me going with dd1 (well that and castor oil - shhh!).

Okay, subbing and lurking.

Hey, maybe if we did it that way, I could stay awake for it!

Hopefully, I'll be back later for more, but was just checking in on HBM!

oh hbm, so much for that "natural" method. i've got a uti right now and am out of commission. my poor dh. dh says your dh must be really sick. : hope i don't get in trouble for all this.

HBM, I made the Scalini's eggplant dish and 48 hours later was holding DD2!

Maybe your babe will get busy once you give up and settle down for the night.

I hope so!
