end up using your "creation" during labor and birth? This just popped into my head as I was looking through my labor and delivery photos and noticed the necklace around my neck! Will post a pic if I can get one uploaded...

I didn't wear them, but they were around. My sister remembered to bring them to me, and in the last long hours of labor, my dp hung them from a hook on the wall over me. They're still there, above me and baby every night. :

ooh, it would be fun to see close-up pics of how everyone arranged their beads. Mine have some added from the blessingway my sister gave me. I'll try to go get a shot.

When I went to put them on, the cord snapped! : DH started to restring them, but I had a quick labor (about 2 hours) so I needed him to do some other things instead. I'm going to restring them and keep them as a keepsake of the pregnancy, though!

I had them with me in my bag. I was going to put my anklet on in the car... but the contrax were so strong all I could do was keep from screaming. Okay so I did keep chanting a very *colorful* word over and over durig the contrax. Since I got to the hospital at 7:30p and she was delivered at 8:12p I never got a chance to put them on.

I'll have to take a picture of my anklet tomorrow and post it. I alternate between wearing it and the one that I made with beads from my DDC with DS#2. I always get compliments on them.
