yet another fishy pool/sanitation ???

so i have the pool all blown up i am going to wash it out with vineger and water and lay it in the sun to dry.
then bring it inside and prop it up against the wall
QUESTION:
will it stay "sanitary" that way? and how long? i have 2 weeks till EDD but i feel it coming sooner,,, ofcourse that means i could also have 4 weeks to go....

now the tubing: (thanks to stayl i go teh the python kit from petsmart) i washed it with hot water and tea tree oil and let it soak in the water (making sure the inside of the tubing had plenty of water going thru it) for about 30 min....
QUESTIONS:
how do i get the inside of the tubing to dry?
how should i store it? (wrap it in a towel and tie it in a trash bag???)
how long will it stay sanitary stored?

wow!

I don't usually recommend any of those things! I just think it will be fine as you are doing it. it will be clean, and that's what matters. there's no way to keep things perfectly sanitized, as that is what makes homebirth so great: the acclimation of your baby to your own bacteria from your body and your home!

thanks pamamidwife...i got ahold of my doula today (it is her pool i am using) and she agreed that i can calm down with my sanitation quest.

why did i spin out of control with that concept?

I think if you want to do those things and if it makes you feel better to do them, then by all means do them.

However, I would bet that you have some other things that your time could be used for!

...my pools basically off-gassed for a few weeks and then were set up. I might suggest sitting the tubing outside in the hot, hot sun
