Starting next week, I will be homeschooling my 13 year old sister. She is in 8th grade, and this is her first homeschooling experience, but not her first encounter with it. I homeschooled starting in 10th grade, until I graduated high school. I loved it, and Dh and I plan on homeschooling our son and any future kids. My mother wants us to use a cirriculum from the same place that I bought mine from when I homeschooled. I'm fine with this because I liked it and I'm already familiar with it.

In case you're wondering, my mother is a single mom and works full-time. I'm already a SAHM and very enthusiastic about homeschooling, which is how I ended up with the "job."

For anyone who's homeschooled a sibling, have you had any particular challenges, compared to homeschooling your own child? My sister and I get along very, very well...we're very close and a lot alike, personality-wise and have a lot of the same interests. She's really excited to start HSing, and so am I. She's very smart, thoughtful, and fun.

Anyway! Now that I've rambled on quite a bit...I'd love to hear from people who've homeschooled a sibling, and your experiences!
