Hi guys! Who is still interested in this meetup? We have a number of people on the nitty-gritty let's getdown with it board, but I definitely don't want to leave anyone out.

I know a number of you personally who may want to come but haven't made the transition, and I'd sure like to have your input as well.

PS Lillian is gonna chat with us for sure. Pssst. pSsssst!

Only if I find out pretty darned soon when it's gonna' be - I have some important things coming up that I absolutely need to plan ahead into the schedule in the coming weeks. Weird how life comes in bunches! Lillian

I'm interested. I like the idea of an informal meeting at a park for the first one. Maybe bring a blanket and lay out homeschooling stuff people are interested in swapping?

Zoomazium isn't always crowded. I've been there on days when it's completely dead. You just have to call ahead and find out when there is no school group scheduled.

The irony here is slaying me

Zoomazium has a section for 4+ and another for under-four. This is really, really tough for me to navigate with my 1, 4, and 6 yos already...I think it is just too much for us all together.

I totally think we should just pick a public park and invade for a picnic-style something. This is getting way too complicated.

Man, I disappear for one amazing weekend live & learn conference and this thread explodes!!!! Anyway, I am back, had a fantabulous time, and definately want to meet up with you guys. Would prefer something on this side of the water, but could go over to the other side if need be...
No, don't belong to WHO, wanted to join but DH joined ranks of unemployed so all new memberships are on hold until cash flow is in the positive,,,
would help with planning if I can get at least 1 week notice to final meet up day,,,,

Don't forget about me. I have been on vacation for the last week and a half. I will try the yahoo group, but I won't be able to do it until Monday.

Is it wrong to like homeschool just because you get to take vacation in the middle of September?
