: Hello,

I'm I the only mama that likes Evanescence here????
They are the only "modern" band that I like, becuase basically I listen to The Beatles, Creedence and so on

I'm I the only one??

No we really enjoy them as well. Are they still doing anything? My Dd can do a wicked rendition of Amy Lee's part in "Broken" with Seether.

They have a new CD coming up in October 3rd "The Open Door is the title,

My DH hate their music so I listen to them when he's of to work and my DD loves My Tounrniquet and she gets angry when I change of song and even now my new DD coming in January will born listening to them

DH and I love Evanescence, but only recently became aware of them. We have one of their albums but hardly listen to it b/c the kids (2 and 5) don't care for it.

I like them as well. I also love the song "Broken" Amy Lee did with Seether. I've heard the tracks off the new CD, and I like some what I've heard so far, just think it will need to grow on me more. I liked their older stuff a bit better so far.

DH and I adore them!! I actually use their music as relaxation music when DH and I are working on relaxing me when I get contractions. It works really well!!

I Evanescence I already have their new cd. If you like them you might aslo like Lacuna Coil and Within temptation.

I like Within Temptation to, my favourite songs are Forsaken and Say My Name, and my favourite songs from Evanescence are Hello and My Tourniquet, gald that some people replied!!

Amy Lee has the most gorgeous voice! I like Evanessence when I'm in the mood for them-but it is beautiful, haunting music.

Very old thread obviously, but I just had to state that I am a HUGE Evanescence fan. I saw them live back in March, and got to meet Amy, Terry, and Tim and get their autographs. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life.

So, who else is an Ev fan besides the people who already replied?

Love them and my dd too. When she was two months old and on a looong car ride home from tx, i decided to put it on and she stopped crying and fell asleep. Her voice is beautiful.
