what would you like to be able to read about on teacher webpages?

I don't understand the question. Do you mean "personal" pages? Or on pages they post information about the class?

Depends on the age of the kids. I have a schoolnotes.com page for my students and parents to access (high school). I give a brief description of the class, what we're doing that six weeks and how they can contact me. I've yet to have a parent contact me using the site. but at least I can say it's there.

If the parents want to know more about me or my teaching philosophy/approach they can contact me directly.

This year our school is also posting the gradebook online (parents can only acces their child's grades) so that should provide them with more information.

the frustrating part for me is just how little the parents care. Even when I call them about concerns (suddenly seems angry or sad) they blow it off. But that's a whole other thread.

What grade level?

A colleague and I built and maintained class websites as part of an action research project. We first surveyed parents on what they wanted to see on our sites, and designed the pages to include the 3 or 4 most requested items.

My work is all packed up for a move, but from what I remember:
For my grade 2 class, parent priorities were: info on our units of inquiry, updates on learning and activities, calendar information, and homework information. For my colleague's prek class, parents wanted: photos, information on helping child at home, updates on learning and activities.
The photos (password protected) were a huge hit.
