Got this idea from having my parents on air mattresses two weeks ago. Get a hair dryer with a cool air setting and you can use it with the air intake of a foot pump to do the bulk of the inflating. I did a twin-sized air mattress in about 5 mins.

(The hair dryer can be used later on the hot setting to tighten down those plastic window covers in winter.)

Sounds good.

I just think getting DH to use the manual foot pump would keep him occupied and not spastic for the beginning of the labour *giggle*
