I know this probably makes me sound a bit like a doofus, but I don't know what the laws are in my state. I am having a homebirth this time largely due to the fact that my MW has gone into Homebirth practice. I have always been a total advocate of HB but DH was more comfortable with having our first naturally in a hospital with our MW. Homebirth was "A-legal" in Virginia for a long time, and just became legal I think within the past year. I did a Google search and I couldn't find any info. at all about the laws here. I was wondering if anyone might have some websites I can visit to get some info. To be honest I wouldn't normally care a bit about the "legality" of homebirth, but I am 2 days past my due date and I want to know how far I can go before my MW's have to turn me over to the hospital. Yes, I know, it's not too late to consider UC
