Kindergarden starts in a week for DS and i'm so not looking forward to it The boys don't get up till 8-9 so I do get to sleep in a bit everyday. DS has to catch the bus at 7:31 so that means we need to get up around 6:30 : then the girl I babysit comes at 8:45(she is in afternoon kindergarden), so there is no point going back to bed. I guess I have to start going to bed at 9 or earlier

I have to be up before 6 am to make sure DD #1 is up. She has a first period class this quarter which starts at 7.45 am. I don't need to leave until around 8.10 to get DS to school though. Through out the summer I was up around 8 and so were my yonger two, but we took things slowly. I really is hard dragging myself out of bed now it is colder and darker in the mornings.

I'm up at the same time. However-dd#1 must now be up at 7 am, and she's used to sleeping in. Kindergarten started at 10:30 for her last year, but now she goes to 1st grade at 8 am.

The kindergartener gets on the bus at 6:49 am, which means I wake him up around 6:15, he gets dressed downstairs, a quick breakfast and we're out the door. The baby gets up no later than 7, so I won't be sleeping in for another 12 years or so.......Then again, I'm always up between 6 and 7 anyway....

Wow, you guys made me feel better. I was upset because we have a new bus driver. Last year they came at about 8:12, but this year it is more like 8:02. The stop is not near our home, so we have to either run about five minutes, or drive about two minutes to make it. So this year we are getting up at about 7:30 to even get in the car at 8:00!

I still would rather sleep till 8:30.

I have it all worked out that if I get up at 7 and get the kids up then I can have my older 2 in school out the door by 8:20(we live 5 houses from the school). They could be out by 8 but they prefer the kids not be there until 8:30 and I can have myself and the youngest ready to leave to take her to playschool by 9.

There is a set schedule though to do this. The days my dd goes to K she(and my youngest) get a bath. The days she doesn't, my oldest gets a shower. That leaves just enough hot water for me to shower.lol

Right now it's easy, but the sun is rising later and later. In the winter it'll be much harder though with my programable thermostat I can set it to heat the house up 15-20minutes before I get up so I'm not staying in bed to stay warm.lol

my middle schoolers get on the bus at 6:50 so we are up at 6. I am a night owl most of the time so this catches up with me. Every third night or so I go to bed with my kindergartener!
