More Polls....and sad!

This is my group, I have had it going for awhile, but at first it was only showing up when people put in pro-circumcision and not for against circ or anti-circ, etc. So anyway, the results are messed up. We need more anti-circ votes!!!

Also, some of the results are very sad to see....for instance, 38% said that they agree with routine female circumcision as well as male! And 23% said that if their son died as a result of circumcision, they would still do it to the next child. Bleck! If anyone wants to add anti-circ comments, they are welcome as well!

How does the mental process go for someone to think that if their son died from circumcision that they would subject their next child?

I dont know, I cant imagine doing it anyway, but....I dunno. I guess they figure that since death as a result of circumcision is pretty rare that the chances are on their side that it wouldnt happen again? Thats all I can figure. And I dont know about these people saying that routine female circumcision is fine with them either. I wonder if the site got linked to some other group that is for female circing.

At least people who think MGM and FGM are both okay aren't being sexist hypocrites... It's disturbing that they would think EITHER was okay, but at least they consider them to be similar (which they are) unlike those who think FGM is so terrible (which it is) and that MGM is just fine and dandy (which it is NOT).
