My all-time favorite is STEVE BUSCEMI- I worship the ground he walks on. Sometimes when I have trouble falling asleep, I will just imagine his beautiful face, smiling, & then, AAAAAh, I fall asleep.
Crispin Glover- love him too!
Christopher Walken
Johnny Depp, I guess

Christina Ricci
Juliette Lewis
Thora Birch

hmmm.... can't think of any others.
SOooo, what about you?

oh, cool that you love steve b. His brother used to be a neighbor of mine and was very sweet. Michael B. was in Steve's film Trees Lounge (I've also hung out there in another lifetime ) for about five minutes.

My favorite actresses are Frances McDormand, (sp.) Catherine Keener, Scarlett Johannson (sp?), Cate Blanchett, Joan Cusack, Laura Linney, Natalie Portman, etc.

Actors-Clive Owen, Hugh Grant (I'm critical of him, yet am a sucker for the whole fumbling Brit act and he's definitely finding his niche lately,) Colin Firth : , Viggo M., etc.

I love these kinds of threads!

Guys: Ewan MacGregor (and I can think of one other MDC mama who will back me up on this one!), Johnny Depp, Mark Ruffalo, Clive Owen is pretty yummy.

Dolls: Cate Blanchette, Franka Potente and I think I am loving Natalie Portman's (non Star Wars) choices of late. Oh yes and Frances McDormand is generally a sign of quality.

Hmm difficult. I enjoy Tom Hanks (although he was dire in The Da Vinci Code, loved him in Castaway, You've Got Mail, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Splash)
Christian Bale (Convincingly scary in American Psycho, brilliant as the new Batman)
Keanu Reeves (but NOT for acting ability, but because I could eat him alive, he's so darn sexy hahahahaha)
Tom Cruise (good actor, still think he should have won an Oscar for Born on The Fourth of July)
Kevin Spacey (but only for his roles in The Usual Suspects and Seven)

Meg Ryan (everything apart from Into The Cut, that film still leaves me asking WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?)
Madelaine Stowe (but only because I think she's hot)
Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost and The Colour Purple
Meryl Streep (without doubt the best actress of the past 2.5 decades)

Probably many more, but I can't think of them right now

An on-going list of (hopefully not misspelled) talented folk

THis list incomplete, but off the top of my head, I'll watch any movie if I see one of these names in the cast:

Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Glenn Close, Emma Thompson, Laura Linney, Meg Ryan, Bette Davis, Diane Keaton, Winona Ryder, Helen Hunt, Marisa Tomei, Barbara Streisand, Frances McDormand, Uma Thurman
(My ladies list is lacking for some reason)
Jack Nicholson, John Cusack, Liam Neeson, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Billy Bob Thornton, Hugh Grant, Christopher Walken, Morgan Freeman, Robin Williams, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Bill Murray, Kevin Spacey, Ed Norton, Dustin Hoffman, Colin Firth, Robert DiNiro, Michael Douglas, Will Farrell (Come on! At least I wouldn't give anyone crap for enjoying the heck out of "We're streaking!"), Sean Connery

Actors
Will Smith -- funny, can do drama, keeps it clean, and nice to look at
Keanu Reeves --- since high school just have always like to look at him on screen
Vin Diesel --- can act ( ignore the Pacifier-- that movie was just too cutsy (sp) for his style) writes and I think directs also hot
Joaquin Phoenix -- he pulls me into the character
Ewan McGreggor -- just love him all around

Actesses
Reese Witherspoon -- have liked her since a far of place -- I have seen that movie more times than I can count
Sandra Bullock -- Funny and the speed love/drama thing got me
Angelina Jolie --- great actress, messmerizing (sp?) and I will pay for a movie to keep her paychecks up there so she can donate more
Nicole Kidman -- Cold Mountain anyone?
