I loved last night's episode. I love that they are stretching the characters and trying new things.

I thought that House was actually going to be wrong for once! I bet they toyed with that idea. But at his core is his ability to solve the medical mystery--even when everything else in his life is in flux. I think that they made the right call.

im still bummed i missed it.i waited all summer (well kinda) and then ive been so busy the last few weeks i havnt turned on the TV once..so i got out of the habit. a good thing i guess.. but house..come on. anyone else like greys anatomy?

I don't even know when the shows I like come on since the advent of the DVR. I actually caught House when it was really on TV (in Tx it is on at 7p now) It was funny to watch and not be able to filp through commercials. I finally put it on 'pause' and walked away for about 15minutes so I could come back and watch it w/o the commercials.

It was a good show. I'm glad Cuddy didn't tell him because Wilson is right. House needs to hear "No" and not think he has carte blanche with every patient.

I agree on both points!

Last night's episode, "Meaning", will be on USA channel on 09/15/06.

Wilson was right and Cuddy was right the first time around to refuse to let House give the guy the steroid shot. House only had a hunch, he couldn't give her a well thought out medical reason to give the guy a shot.

Wilson told her House was lucky he got it right this time. Next time he might not be so lucky and the patient will die. He's got to stick to facts, not hunches.

If it were up to me House would be at the top of our Season Pass list on TiVo, but dh has Battlestar Galactica there.

My dh is in the process of making our DVR. He's been making it for a few months now, so hopefully we'll be done with it soon. I know he's only ISO 1 or 2 parts. And I knew it would re-air on 9/15, but we were hoping to see it before next weeks episode.

a DVR is just not that complicated to make. All of dh's geeky friends have done it, now he's hip to start buying parts to do it, too.

I just started watching this show and I love it! It's a new one for me... I'll have to watch the previous seasons on DVR, but I can't believe I've missed this for two years. Engaging, interesting, intelligent...

Oh and I don't think he'll actually fill the scrip... just a guess, though.

Oh! Oh! Me too!! I love House and so does DH....its one of only 2 shows that he will watch on TV. DH is in the medical profession so he has fun trying to figure out the diagnosis and whats going on.

I really don't want House to be taking drugs when he was told no. What he did is serious trouble in doctor-land!

And I think he should have been told that the guy was helped....he wanted to help them and he did, even if he did it around-about way. It would have encouraged him to feel good about being able to help people even if it would have made him more insufferable. He needs the emotional connection that it might have given him to see his patient walk.

I watch House, but I forgot about the time change and missed it. I remembered at 7:45 that it was on at 7 not 8. Anyone have a tape they want to send me? I'm hoping they reair it.

eta: we don't have cable, so showing it on usa doesn't help me.

I missed it -- I didn't know it changed times. I've been so bummed all week because 7 is just not a good time for me to be watching tv with homework time and baths for my daughters. I can't DVR it because hubby already has a show he watches at 7 on the tv with the dvr. Thanks for the updates on what happened --i'll look for it on USA--you have given me hope that I will be able to see one of my favorite shows.
