My dh is a lactivist!

We had our ultrasound a few days ago. Upon leaving the office, the doctor handed us a small gift bag. My dh looked in it first and found a small can of formula in it. Quickly, he returned it back to the doctor saying "WE WON"T NEED IT, WE ARE BREASTFEEDING IN THIS FAMILY!!!
I was so proud of him . On another hand, why did they have to give us formula at all : ?

Those bags irritate me so badly. It is great that your dh handed it back. Maybe if more people start doing that then they will get the hint. I don't understand why we need free gifts like that, it just makes no sense to me. I don't get a free gift when I go in to get a haircut, go have a massage, see my chiropractor but for some reason pregnant/birthing women need that? I just don't get it. Hooray for you dh, we need more men like that!
