I just had to share...Gram had 5 kids and formula fed all of them. They also formula fed their chidren (including me) When I got pregnant with dd my grandma was semi-supportive of BF. Now she is a little lactivist! My cousin is considering weaning her 3mo and my Gram read her the riot act on the phone and told her to call me! My other cousin is not planning to BF the baby she is having in November and my Gram told her she is making a big mistake! She has been wonderfully suportive of me nursing my dd through my pregnancy, is an advocate for CLW, and although she thinks it's "odd" that I will tandem she has never said anything negative...She even told me that she wanted to BF her kids but had to go back to work. I never knew that!!! She told me that at first she thought I was "nuts" for wanting to BF Kiera until she was ready to quit but has seen how healthy my dd is and how well behaved and thinks nursing has something to do with it! Yey Gram!!!
P.S. - My own mother thinks I am a looney person for BF my 17mo and won't be seen with me when I NIP so it's nice to have Gram on my side!

...It is still amazing to me that she is like this now as she is a very modest person about mostly everything! Yey Gram!!!
