Well, I went to see my MW today and told her I was counting on the moon tonight. I also told her about ya'll and that there were probably at least 10 of us altogether planning on tonight being the night. Ever the realist she told me that most babies actually come closer to the new moon. The full moon is too bright and it isn't safe for mamals to birth in that much light. (She tries really hard to keep me realistic

) That may be the case, but I just had a nice ceremony anyway. I decided to make it more about asking for a quick, safe labor and a healthy, whole baby, and not think about a timeline. It was really nice. It's actually cloudy here tonight, but the moon came out just long enough for me to say a prayer under the cedar tree and then I sat on a blanket in the yard and exposed my belly and babe to the moonbeams for a while. It was really nice to be outside tonight. Oh, and today I bought a "Virgo" candle and I lit it exactly at moonrise to honor all of our little Virgo's

Love to everyone and prayers on this full moon night for safe deliveries and healthy babies to all...
