Artists' Showcase

Thread Starter
Just thought I'd make a thread for the artists among us to showcase some of their work.

Here's a watercolor painting of some roses I did awhile back:

"Roses"

I've also done some collage works. Here are two I did back in high school:

"Amish Boy with Frog"

"Puck (from a Midsummer Night's Dream)"

Everyone else feel free to share as well!

There's 10 pages, so please make sure you see it all!

Corbinsmama, those are beautiful! Are they cards or journals or both...? Whatever they are, I love them! So pretty!

Thank you! They are a little of everything. Some are ATCs, there are pics of some altered books that I have worked in, there are mini quilts, and pages for fabric journals. I can't wait to have my site up so that I can categorize things and have longer descriptions.

Have any of you participated in Craft Swaps in the TP Swap forum and offered things similar to this?

I'm amazed at the talent!! I'd love stuff like this hanging on my walls or decorating my coffee table, etc.

I bow down to your talent!

Kfowler - your paintings have so much life! Beautiful.

I guess I'm a bit of an oddball here, but I do portraits in pencil and charcoal. Here are a few:

Have a great week, girls.

I make pottery... http://www.primalpotter.com

I am doing an MFA in ceramics and have taken my first printmaking class, but I don't have pictures of my etchings. (And they're pretty beginnerish.)

Wow! You are some talented mamas! Amazing paintings. drawings and sculpture. I have a general studio arts degree, but now do more crafty things, although I suppose my wool sculptures could be considered fine art. Here is one and I'm working on a couple more presently. I also like to do candid portraits. Here are one of my favorites.

Thanks for sharing! I'm so inspired!!!

Love everything I'm seeing!

I dabble in so many things... right now mostly knitting, etched glass, photography,
and quilting (the quilting means more "buying fabric" these days... ).

My baby Aidan, cheesy grin.
I do most of my work in pencil..
But sometimes in charcoal, too!
I am going to have to update our nursing self portrait because my fiance took some great photos of us nursing and you can actually see my face! LOL
Hope you like.

Oooh, if you look at the link in my profile it will take you to not only my gallery but my LJ as well.
