DD has to decorate a paper grocery bag with an "Earth Day Theme" and I'm having trouble coming up with ideas.
She's only 5, so I can't really just have her draw anything - I was thinking of maybe doing some kind of mosaic. Maybe I :heart Earth. That way she can handle all the gluing of the paper or materials on the bag herself and I can help her trace around a plate for the shape of the earth. If we do the mosaic, I'd like to use natural materials or recycled materials - all I have come up with are split peas for the land! LOL.
I also thought of using green straws as grass across the bottom, and gluing silk flowers to the bag.
Any ideas out there, crafty mamas?
