We thought we were done, but guess what. We're due May 3, 2006. Our youngest is 5 and we're starting over! Any other mommas who got rid of all of their baby stuff?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Not quite here. I was thinking we were probably stopping at one and got rid of a few things and lent out all my maternity and most infant clothes, but I've already asked those women if they still had my stuff and they do, so hopefully I'll get most of it back.

Amandajf, that was me 2 years ago. I had nothing, but a surprise pg. By the time I was due, I had everything. Since it did not get used, I still have it. Only thing is that it was all gender specific, so if this is a boy, he will look cute in pink diapers!!!

I will only be starting over in some aspects if this baby is a boy. I haven't had baby boy stuff around in more that 5 years! But we still have some baby things like the exersaucer and portable bassinet. I have a few toy things that just never got much use with dd2.

My youngest turned 3 this summer. I got rid of everything except some special baby clothes. I have to buy everything all over again! Dd didn't start using the potty until a month ago, so I still have her entire cloth diaper stash. I knew we wanted another baby soon, but I didn't think we'd actually get the nerve to go through with it for another few months *at least*. We had agreed that we would start trying in about a year. So this baby came a wee bit sooner than planned, but we are excited about it! I cannot wait for a tiny little baby

yay
we got rid of everything. we moved into this apartment 18 months ago and decided since we weren't having any more until college was done (if ever) to get rid of it all. our crib, changing table, bath rub, all gear, etc. etc. is gone. i got rid of my entire diapering stash, every single outfit, washcloth, towel, toy, you name it.the goal in this one will be simplicity. and buy quality so i can resell it later on since it will not be survivng several children.

Yep. We got rid of everything. I did keep a few special things for G to have someday . . . but all maternity clothes, baby and growing clothes, toys, crib, books . . . .all given away.
i had surgery on my back a when G was 2.5, and we decided that we weren't going to be able to do this again . . . .
Well, we decided we had been wrong! THis is planned, and wanted!
Now, though, I seem to be expanding a little bit already, and I am worried! I am going to need clothes sooner than I thought! It's not really noticable to anyone but me, but I just don't want anything to fit snugly on my lower belly!

yup
i abhor snug anything when pregnant. even afterwards. heck my lil one is 5 and i still HATE wearing anything on my tummy that is snug! but i'm fat too (270lbs)because of this i have enough clothing that will fit me during pregnancy. for work i wear alot of these linen / velvet celtic skirts i bought and those will fit the hwole time. plus i dont wear slacks, i wear alot of knit stretchy pants with button up shirts. those should fit me until just before birth and during that time i can wear empire waisted shirts and stuff that I have. im also sticking to my protein power diet throughout the entire pregnancy because i want to continue improving my liver and cholesterol levels while pregnant so hopefully i'll shed more weight this time and be healthier when the baby is born. (i always lost weight with other kids but stayed healthy)
we found out thursday and today i am just soo darn excited. hubby is getting big V as soon as this one is born so he/she will be our last. i'm bound and determined to enjoy this one as much as i can because we're financially more stable and better equipped as parents, i think. im refusing to let anyone be negative about it. or is it just me who has tons of people give em dirty looks when they mentioned the posibility of another child? dh has one from before we married that was 9 months old when we got together and we have two together.
im rambling! sorry

I have two kids already. I got rid of most of my 'stuff' along the way.. gave it to people who needed it, or sold it for extra cash... and now I'm expecting TWINS. Guess I have some shopping to do.
