Bad headache?

I dealt with horrible migraines until week 20 of this pregnancy. Since then, I haven't even had a regular headache.

But...last night I developed a headache on the right side of my skull, above my temple. It was pretty uncomfortable, but nothing like the migraines I used to get. Anyhoo, I woke up with it this morning too.

Should I be concerned? Is this a sign of something? I just had an appt. with the mw yesterday and everything else looked fine, besides some glucose in my urine. I hate to call up with this issue if it's nothing.

What do y'all think? TIA

Not in your DDC but I wanted to pop in and say hello Erin

I've been a sufferer of migraine's for years. I've tried every homeopathic, tincture, OTC, prescribed treatments known to man

Our midwife recommended I talk to my FP about CranioSacral Therapy, considering she is an osteopath. I called her about a month ago and made an appointment, I go in on Monday to give it a try. If it works, I'm going to continue therapy with an osteopath that specializes in this kind of therapy.

My only fear of giving birth is having a migraine at the same time.

Good luck Erin, I've been thinking of you and that growing bean of yours. Are you going to see Sarah again before you give birth? If so, I have a gift for you and Stephen that I would like to drop off to her.

Hey!!! You are so sweet

You know what, I think I did craniosacral therapy. I went twice to see an osteopath at True North in Falmouth. I was around 18 weeks pregnant. I had been getting migraines every week since I conceived (had gotten them before too) about 3-4x's. Yuck!

So anyway, he did his thing and I saw no change between appt.'s. He didn't want to continue because it was expensive and he was afraid if it hadn't have already worked, it wouldn't. So I stopped. But then, two weeks later, they suddenly stopped and I never got another one. Not even a headache!!! (until yesterday) So I have no idea if it was a delayed reaction or what. I'm just glad they're gone.

I hope this works out for you. Migraines are no fun, especially accompanied by all the other side effects of pregnancy...

I am going to see Sarah one last time next week. I go in on Wednesday to see an allergy tester-person (I forget her title!) and then see Sarah again on Thursday. Wednesday is my due date, but we'll see

Good luck and keep me updated!!
