Young Mum wants to relactate

On a more mainstream forum, a young mum wants to relactate. She did not breastfeed because she felt her body had been taken over by by her child for long enough. Understandable for a young woman who didn't know any better. I felt that way myself

I chose not BF my son and I now regret it immensely but since I have found out about relactation I really want to try with it again but he screams everytime I try to get him to latch on Sad do you think its even possible for me to get him to latch on at his age?? ( he is 10 weeks ) sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my time and I feel so sad... anyways any advice would be greatly appreciated

She can absolutely relactate at 10 weeks. Mine was 5 months! If she puts her mind to it, it can happen. If she can pump any milk or if babe will latch on, that's pretty much where she needs to start. It won't happen over night, but if she'll commit to trying for at least a month or more, it will be worth it. Especially if she's willing to nurse longer.
