i too have a 3yo and a 9mo, i live in st paul and if there is anything - ANYTHING- i can do i would be glad to.

This may not help you explain what happened to your children, but it has many good resources for helping you take care of you and your family.

They have a wonderful, free newsletter that's published 2 to 3 times a year and they're tied in with the SOS groups that a pp mentioned.

Oh, my god. I am so sorry, mama. It sounds like you are getting good information here.

I imagine in a large metropolitan area like Mpls-St. Paul there would be support groups available to you. I know here that at least one of our hospitals has a very good bereavement program for families.

My thoughts are with you and your little girls at this time. I'm sending you love and strength and many from WA.

Also agree. Honest and straightforward. Give her the news the way you want her to hear it, rather than having other people step in and maybe not deliver the news the way you would like.

Well I'm not sure on how to explain a suicide, but when our baby was stillborn, we told the kids that Alexis has left us and is now in Heaven with God, she is safe and not hurting. They are only 2 and 4 so they don't know that much, but try to explain the best you can. I am SO sorry this happened to your family. You will definately be in my prayers.
