i've been experimenting with recipes in search of an nt-friendly cc cookie--nothing very good so far, but exchanging the wheat for oats in the raisin-walnut recipe near the end of the snacks section in NT (p 532) makes a flat chewy yummy deliciousness. i put some mini chips sweetened with evap cane juice (forget the brand--it was on sale, not org).

Any other links re the lack of lead in the raw cacao would be appreciated. Our HFS carries a superior brand which I'd like to buy but not until I feel more sure about the lead factor.
