Has anyone heard of or read this book

Pearl, Mary Gordon. Finished this a couple of weeks ago.

WOW what a book this was even though it was boring at times. This definetly a must read book for all women no matter if they are a mother yet or never were one. Hopefully, this will become a movie some day.

Basically, its about girl trying to commit sucide because a boy whom she met while a forgein exchange student in Dublin, Ireland (1998, fiction). Then, it is also about her mother and their friend Joseph. The rest of it is hard to explain. Still, I recommed to read it no matter what.
