Help my headache please

I have super hydrated
took 2 extra strength tylenol
Got a lortab as well

I went into the hospital for monitoring/bp check. Over the hour, my BP was fine, just aobut 8-10 pts higher than it was a month ago.

I am 34 weeks.

I am now feeling naseous. My MW is out of town. I could call her, but thought I would check with the wise women of mothering right quick.

I was told to call if I ever had a headache that tylenol couldn't touch. Even if it's really nothing, I'm sure your midwife would rather hear from you than not.

Call your midwife, just to be safe. Do you have a way to take your bp again?

things to try floating in some water
a migra-stick it is a small bottle of essential oils- mint and lavender with a roller applicator it helps take the edge off my migraines- I put it on my neck and temples

hot or cold packs on your face and neck
lay in a darkened room with your eyes covered

you could try something caffineated and see if it helps...

go ahead an call your midwife-- I would want clients to call me anytime that they go to the hospial or before they do..

Off to call the MW and try a cold pack and my smelling stick.

Thanks mamas. WE have a nurse friend at church as well. I will get her to check my bp this evening if my head still hurts.
