Please help me!!!!!!!

I must teach my 6 year old ds self control, he has none: . I am at a loss, it is starting to really effect our lives.

I feel like such a bad parent right now. This seems like one of the most important things a child can learn and I can't seem to help him.

I hear you. This is definitely the hardest parenting lesson.

That said, how many adults do you know that have self-control? Who overeat, or smoke, or curse when they shouldn't?

I started thinking about that - I need to discipline myself first and then I can help DD with self-control issues. I did some great self-exploration and it was very healing.

I know that probably doesn't help but at least somebody is commiserating with you!
