Lap and ovulation

Help!

Normally, I ovulate around CD 18’ish. I’m on CD 24 now, and I don’t believe I’ve ovulated yet. I’m taking a break from temping and OPK’s this cycle, but can tell from my cervix, cervical fluid, O pains, and high libido that I have not. (After 16 months, you sure start to get in tune with that stuff, don’t you!) Anyway, I had a lap two weeks ago, on CD 11. Do you think that could have thrown ovulation off this cycle?

Tell me your experiences with laparoscopy and ovulation. What cycle day did you have your lap on, and when did you ovulate? Did it affect your cycle in any other way? How many months did it take for it to get back to normal?

Thanks!!

I'm not sure if this will help or not. I don't chart or anything.

I was due for AF on the 24th of August. My laparoscopy was Sept. 1st. At the time of my laparoscopy, I still had not had my period. (A big mess-I had to go to the doctor for a pregnancy test, even though I'd taken 5 HPTs.) AF finally showed Sunday, Sept. 10th. I am also off the pill for the first time, so I think that could be affecting my cycles some too. Also, my cycles are usually fairly light, but this one was REALLY light. Again, I'm not sure if that's due to going off the pill or the laparoscopy.

I definitely think that the lap could have thrown off ovulation, though.
