Well after my midwifes visit last week I've descovered baby has gone posterior... Anyone else having this problem...?? Or know of ways to get them to spin round?? I've been crawling round lots (Apparantly that helps) and she may have spun a bit, shes sorta halfway between posterior and having her back against my right side.... Any other ideas??

i sit on my big rubber ball a lot, been told that can help ... my babe is head down and usually with his back on my left side, likes to kick my in my pancreas my mw says its better his back is on my left than my right, but maybe three wks ago it was to my right and she told me to not recline as much when sitting, kinda lean forward, spend some time every day on the floor kinda on my knees (actual knees kinda far apart) and lean forward on my hands. and i think the yoga cat/cow helps too.

Pelvic rocks! (On hands & knees.)

My baby was in a decent back on my left side position until a couple of weeks ago. DH was gone for work & I kept finding myself on my back or my right side in bed "looking" for him in my sleep. And baby moved to posterior.

I'm still sitting on my birth ball a bunch & sleeping on my left side, and I've added at least an hour a day of hands & knees time. Tons of pelvic rocks, plus just hanging out belly down. And I'm very aware of my position all the time, though I can't avoid the bucket seat in the car.

Baby has swung around a couple of times, but then goes back to posterior.

Somebody mentioned www.spinningbabies.com on some forum here.. has some really good information. I managed to turn Teddy with their abdominal lift trick (which is a very gentle maneuver and seemed safe to me to try). I can't seem to get him to stay put, though. I'm trying to sit forward, pelvic rock, rest hanging on the birth ball... I think my pelvis is really roomy, since he has already descended and still seems to be spinning (whether my OB says it's possible or not!) Good luck!
