preschool in winston salem

Hello im new to this forum. I noticed itr posted about finding a preschool in ws and is now sending ds to montessori 3 days a week? my dd goes to creative learning center , but we also looked at The Montessori school but i understood they only had a 5 day program? so im just wondering which program it is...the only other is salem i think, but its christian based? i like clc but im thinking i will still put her in montessori in a year or two.

Hello from W-S!! My son is 3 and he does go to Salem. We LOVE it! He does go 3 days/week and we may do 5 days next year. It is much smaller than TMS. It does have a christian component, but it is very light though. They do a Christmas play with baby jesus and maybe an appropriate bible story every once and awhile. There is no daily prayer, nor do they say blessing at snack time (as the previous preschool did). We love Salem because of the atmosphere. It does not have as an elitist feel as TMS and the teachers are truly wonderful. They have also just started a toddler program this year. I would recommend going for a visit and if you like it getting on the wait list. We were on it for 8 months! You can PM me if you have any questions, etc.

We looked at almost everyplace in W-S (inlcluding CLC) before deciding on Salem and I am so happy he's there!
