First trimester clothing score at the gap!

okay, i spent too much money but i have some comfortable things to wear so i'm happy.

my tummy is soooo bloated and all my pants are super uncomfortable so yesterday i went out on a quest for some comfy things to wear. i went into the gap just on a whim. i haven't been there in a while and i really didn't think they'd have what i was looking for but they did! in the back they had a section full of underwear, pj's and workout clothes. i got a few pairs of comfy sweat pants but the best thing i got were the t-shirts. they were on sale for $6.99 each and they are nice and long. i am so thrilled.

anyway, just thought i'd share. this is such a difficult time for clothes. judging from past pregnancies and the way my belly is already growing this time i'm sure i'll be in full fledged maternity soon, but it's nice to have some comfy things in the mean time.

So far I am still fitting into my jeans (also from the Gap!) but this is pg#1 for me so I expect to be able to get to 10-12wks without having to start wearing maternity clothes.... we'll see though! I HOPE I can get through that long because if I start showing before then I'm going to be in BIG trouble when I pick my mom up at the airport and haven't told her yet! :

I do wear my Old Navy yoga pants most of the weekend..... but I have since I got them, they are SO comfy and were the only yoga pants that didn't look funny on my weird shaped legs.

I plan on living in yoga pants/workout pants. I never really did like jeans! They always seem to pinch! )

I went to target tonight and they were just marking down some stuff. I looked in the maternity section and found some shirts that were $4.98 (50% off) and they are plain (not maternity-ey) enough that I can start wearing it once I get bloated or the bump crops up.

Well dh and I went out tonight. We were going to look for some pants for me for work (I wore my skinny jeans tonight last time that is going to happen for a while) and we ended up buying dh a bunch of new clothes at Old Navy. We got him 10 new shirts and ds a new pair of jeans came to $32.00. Dh told me I could go out by myself tomorrow if I liked and he would hold down the fort which is awful nice of him.

That's good to know! Some pants I can wear still, but others I can't get zippered/buttoned! I notice my bloating is worse at night. Last night I looked huge! (Like I did at 5 months with DS1!)

If I hadn't gotten pregnant I was going to need to buy new jeans for this winter. I had to throw away 2 pairs recently because they ripped in the rear Anywho, I went ahead and bought a few pairs of maternity jeans from Old Navy. They look just like regular jeans with a long shirt pulled down over the waist. They are soooo comfy! I also got a couple pairs of yoga/workout pants. I scored some maternity tank tops for $2.99 They are great for layering, and by the end of this pregnancy I'm going to want some sleeveless tops!

I'll have to go check out the Gap, sounds like they have some good deals!
