Just got back from picking up FMLA paperwork from my doc and found out he is NOT on call this weekend.
: Ugh! The whole reason I went to him was because he is at 90% of the births. Oh, gee whiz. I bet I go into labor tonight. 
Tomorrow we are going to the zoo to visit the storks.
No, seriously, we are. 2 days before dd was born, we took ds to the zoo. It was our first trip to that zoo. We were looking at some birds and I said, "gee, wonder what kind they are". Dh read the sign and said "American Storks" ha ha ha. So, I said out loud "I have a request to make!" It was very crowded and many people were laughing with us ( and at a very pregnant momma). Dd was born about 48 hours later. So, tomorrow, I am going to make my request. Between that, and the doc not being on call, I bet this is the weekend.
Kinda makes me laugh, cause that is all I can do at this point. I want to hold this new baby so badly that my arms ache.

Hope no one thinks that I am taking this too seriously. All I can do is just laugh and look for a distraction at this point.
