Breech Update and Plug Loss!!!!!!!

Well I decided to wait out the weekend to see if I go into labor on my own... if I do and she went head down, we'll have a natural birth... if she's breech still we'll end up with a c-section. If nothing happens this weekend we have a c-section scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. I'm so nervous and afraid and praying that she will turn. Monday is dh's birthday so if she comes then it will be a nice gift for him.

I've had LOTS of contrax yesterday and today and lost my plug this morning. So, I know baby is ready to come... just a matter of when. I'm hoping she arrives head down tonight or tomorrow.

I'll update you soon. Praying for my natural birth but trying to stay positive either way.

Hello!

I am due on Spetmeber 24th and have lurked, but not posted here... until now! My baby was found to be in a breech position at my 38 week appointment. The doc immediately jumped on the scheduled c-section bandwagon. He brusquely told me, "I don't do versions". I left the office in tears and went straight to the internet to see what could be done. Well, after a week of seeing a chiropractor 3 times for the Webster adjustment (specific technique to turn breech babies) and a four days of moxabustion (acupuncture technique that applies heat to a point on the outer pinkie toe to stimulate baby to turn) -- my baby was head down as of Tuesday's ultrasound and still head down at Thursday's visit!!!! If you can put off the scheduled c-section on Monday and try one of these techniques, maybe that will help you, too! In the meantime, I will send head down baby thoughts your way!

Have you tried the homeopathic remedy Pulsatilla?? It is often used to turn breech babies. you could take 1~ 200c dose or 1~ 30c dose every 2 hours up to 6 doses.

Also www.spinningbabies.com has info on positions for turning breech babies.

Just another update - I'M STILL HERE! contrax all day again but nothing strong enough to go to hospital... looks as if we may make it to our c-section appointment tomorrow, maybe she'll have gone head down by then but it doesnt feel like it.

For some reason, I'm very nervous. More so than ever before. I'm sure the c-section thing isnt helping but I'm even nervous about birth this time around.

Ugh..
