Dd really dug this, interestingly enough.
I didn't realize that this was a Christopher Reeve direction, and presumably his final work. His wife was a co-producer, I believe. I suuppose someone stepped up and finished the work posthumously for them?
For some reason, when the credits rolled at the end of the movie and I saw the Reeves listed, I just completely choked up. Dh thought I was nuts. I was just sitting there with tears running down my face, a huge lump in my throat so that I couldn't talk to tell him what was wrong. I kept thinking of how the Hollywood community must have pulled this picture together to try and help out their son.
It's just so sad - Christopher's injury and death. And his wife Dana being so devoted to him, then dying a year later of lung cancer in her forties, leaving their 13 year old son completely orphaned.
Just so, so sad
