How many DPO are you?? I'm 6, so we must be pretty close this month. I think that is a good sign

Uugghhaarrgghh!

(Cross posted in TWW)

I cannot belive I did this. Woke up this a.m., nice temp. Made breakfast for DH and his young cousing who is staying with us for a few days. Went to sleep, b/c I am just pooped (same thing as last month, I assume from all the temping, stressing etc.) Had one HPT in the house, an equate brand, was weak and POAS. Did not use FMU. It didn't work, not even a control line. Was as if I did not get enough urine on the thing. Went to sleep. Just woke up(maybe 1 1/2-2 hours later), went to the bathroom and caught a glimpse of the test. BFP! Now, I looked at this think for 10 minutes before I tossed it as defective and there was nothing on. it. SOOOO.....is it invalid b/c it sat there that long? evap line? I am assuming it's an evap line. Could someone give me some feedback. I am ok w/a BFN, sicne I thought it was too early to test anyway. I will get a FRER when I go to work tomorrow, to test for next week, just looking for some thoughts

Ann: Not sure if this helps, but all I ever got with DS was a faint positive after about 12 minutes of the test sitting in the trash. Bloodwork a few days later confirmed the pregnancy. I think it might depend on the test. 9 DPO is not too early to get a BFP, it has happened before.... Good luck with your next test!!

Yes, thanks for the new thread!

I just took sometime and looked at charts. Nice ones out there! Hoping for BFPs!!!

Iam 9DPO too, with a LP of 11, per FF, which doesn't have that much data.
Seems like there are lots of us now waiting for the end of the week...hope it will be an exciting weekend for all!!!!

Thanks for the info, Jillian. I would have DH go to the store today, so I can POAS w/ FMU before work tomorrow, but I am, um, I guess I don't know what I am feeling. We'll see.
BTW, nice chart : for 5th time

My temp went down a smidge this morning, but I'm not that concerned--we did a prayer vigil last night and our shift was midnight until one, and I'm not at all sure I got a solid three hours before temping. I had a very restless night. I temped at the usual time and figured I'd temp again when it was time to get up for church, just to see, and my thermometer had totally tanked, so I have no idea whether this morning's temp is even valid.

Still pukey, still tired, still grumpy, still tender-breasted, and now with brand new blue veins.

from consumerreasearch.com

"You might be wondering about store brands, since almost every discount store has them, including Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Walgreens, and Osco, just to name a few. About.com's Pregnancy/Birth Guide, Robin Elise Weiss, recommends Wal-Mart's Equate brand (*est. $8, two-pack), saying, "It's a great, inexpensive pregnancy test kit," with separate control and testing windows and a cap to cover the absorbent tip. Equate is available in 25 mIU (white cap) and 100 mIU (purple cap), and reviewers warn to check carefully so you know which one you're getting. Some Equate samples failed to work in product testing, or took longer to work than stated by the manufacturer, but FertilityPlus.org has this to say: "The Equate brand switched manufacturers a couple of years ago. The older test had a significant online reputation for false positives, while the newer tests, manufactured by LifeCare, appear as reliable as most other brands (most brands get some reports of false positives). The main comment the test still gets is to beware of evaporation lines and read the test, like all brands, within the time limit listed in the instructions."

So I guess there's my answer. FRER tomorrow

My temp is still above coverline. It was a touch lower today and yesterday but I have a real prob temping on time during the weekend since DH's alarm doesn't go off at 6am waking me up.

Still I am 99% sure I'm not preg. I have very few symptoms at all and the ones I have just seem more PMS then preg. Usually I get really bad PMS so I'm actually enjoying the fact that it's not too bad this month. I've only been preg once, but if I use that as my guide, I should definitely be feeling preg by now and I'm not.

I'm sending sanity vibes to everyone entering the TWW since it almost drove me insane this month. I am sticking to my pact of no obsessing next month as soon as AF arrives and she is due tomorrow.

???????? I'll be testing tomorrow AM before my chiro appointment so I know whether to tell him I'm preg or not. I have a $tree test but am thinking of picking up a better one just to feel more sure. What do you think?

Greenegirl- Thanks for the new thread...hope you get to move lots to Sept BFPs

I just want to wish all you fine ladies good luck. I visit the One Threads every day, and check up on everybody. I do wish there was one spot where everybody's name and chart was listed, so I didn't have to go and search everybody and their signature out. Could you add that to the list on the first page, for us chart stalkers?

I'm passing around the water, and rubbing my belly on all of y'all.

JessJill - thanks.

Assuming that ff is still correct and my crosshairs stay put, I'm going to test on Saturday, as that would be 12 dpo, which according to ff is about 4 days to early, but I'll probably try anyway. Of course I only have 2 hpt, so if that a bfn I'll wait out the last 4 days.

Tara - I'd wait and see what that test gives you and if it's a bfn you might tell your chiro you're probably pregnant if you don't get to another test before then.

GL tomorrow Tara. I too will lay off the site if not + the end of the week. Too much stress and DH and I are not spending the time together we want to due to my staling MDC.
Again, best wishes~

Still waiting and waiting. This whole Oing on day 10 thing is starting to drive me nuts. SUCH a long wait. AF is due Thursday though so I should know one way or another by next weekend. I can't bring myself to test again before next weekend. BFN's leave me depressed for the whole day, even when I know I'm testing way too early.

Congrats to all those BFP's, woo hoo!!

Yay! Yeah, I bet the slight dip is because of the sleep issues.

Can you move me from Waiting to be Ready to Waiting to O?

Things are looking VERY good for a donor this cycle.

I'm on CD 1 today and have three cycles of solid charting under my belt, two of which were 25 day and one 24 day. I have O'd on day 10, day 11, and day 12, so I'm thinking that it would be safest to insem on Day 10 of this cycle.

I used dollar store OPKs for two of the charted cycles. For the first one, I caught my LH surge on the first time and did not test again. For the second cycle, I had one test with no visible line, a second test the next day with a line that wasn't quite as dark as the control, and a third test the following day with no visible line.

I have also had difficulty detecting/producing EWCM, which was never an issue when I was younger, so I intend to pick up some Robitussin if things continue to look good with TTC this month.

I'm so glad to have this thread and some company on this crazy roller coaster.ride.

to everybody

Jilian~
I'm either 2dpo or 6dpo. Ugh. AF isn't due until the 28th. Which sucks b/c I had wanted to find out before the 24th since it is ds2's birthday and we planned on dd wearing a shirt that said big sister on it to his party to tell the family. Of course I was hoping to already be 8 or more weeks pregnant by then. Not happening unless- well who knows! :

Copied/pasted from last week's thread with an update at the bottom!

Someone please tell me what this means...
Last month AF was almost 4 days late (technically she was since it was like midnight when the showed up). It lasted only 3 days & was light to medium all 3 days.
Now I am on cd14 and had some ewcm (or so I thought) around 1am today. (that date is according to ff who says that I am fertile right now, I thought that I might have O'd around cd9 but the cm was just creamy and not ewcm)
TMI warning~
Had a BM this evening and noticed some cm that I might consider ew and it had red blood in it. Thought to myself that it was interesting. (I've never ever spotted before AF in my life)
Made supper and as soon as I took a couple of bites of my mashed potatoes and meatloaf.. that's all there was to it. I puked my guts up. Then I went to get my glasses from the table (where I had ripped them off knowing what was to come) and as soon as I saw and smelled the food- yep, back to the bathroom I went again. With ds2 (first biological child) I had hypermesis gravidarum bad. We're talking in the hosp because I lost 23 lbs between weeks 5 through 7. With dd, again I started with the puking so I was put back on Phenergan till 16 weeks like with ds2.
I took a test on the 5th of Sept (I don't know why.. I guess I'm addicted!) and of course it was -. As Jilian knows, I even thought that maybe I had mono because I was soooooo sleepy all of August.
What does all of this mean?

ETA: Took a FRER with fmu this morning and it was negative of course. Dh keeps telling me that I should have a bloodtest done. But, I think that I need to see if I did really O Friday and the only way to know that is waiting it out till the 28th or so.
