My suggestion would be to watch the entire series - the Japanese versions. The Hollywood versions are more suspenseful, but the Japanese versions explain a lot more.

There's no sex, no violence, no gore, little blood. It's just downright scary!
I haven't heard of it, but it sounds good! I'll put it on my list.

IMO don't waste your time. No offense to those who liked it, but it didn't entertain me at all.

I read about a movie with Donald Sutherland that takes place in Venice that's supposedly creepy and I'd love to see it. I gather it was made in the 70's and had something to do with he and his wife losing their young daughter.
The film is called Don't Look Now. Fantastic film, the atmosphere is very dark and scary in the film with a real shocker of an ending. Also contains one of the most talked about sex scenes in cinema history because it appeared to be so real.

Oh, thanks SO MUCH for giving me the title! Maybe I'll buy it. I like creepy much more than gore/shock value scary movies.

That is one of my all time favorite love stories. I never thought of it as scary though. When they are in the movie theater and he tells her, "I have crossed oceans of time to find you." I just melt every time. Okay, I have been told many times it is really a reason to take out a restraining order and not romantic, but I love that movie.
