need help with my allergic cat.

My cat is allergic to fleas, and he got exposed while we were on vacation in July. (I totally forgot about the allergy and the fact that the friend we left him with had outdoor cats and a dog) Even though the fleas are totally gone he still seems to be biting/scratching excessively, and is having more hairballs than usual. I don't want to tkae him to the vet cuz they'll give him a steroid shot...is there a homeopathic pet care site? Whjat can I give him that's safe and will help him feel better?

Try posting this in the pets forum? THis is the people allergies forum, and since cat is a very very common allergy, I'm willing to bet most of us that hang out here don't have one. I love kitties, though, wish I wasn't allergic. Good luck!
