I get what they mean I just don't see the connections. Like sometimes those little sayings have some sort of translation into the real world or came from some other meaning or tradition.

I take it to mean you don't get all your things in the same place in case something goes wrong with one...like if your meat is giving you trouble at your bread won't be affected.

PRESCHOOLER? I was in college when that song came out! I know I'm older than many mamas on here, but jeesh!

(I used to sing that song to myself to keep me walking fast enough to make it between classes - they were on diagonally opposite corners of the campus with only a short break between classes.)

OK, back on topic. I don't think Addison is pregnant. Lost a baby? maybe. Had trouble conceiving? perhaps. But pregnant right now? no way.

I was 4 years away from being born.

But at least I know who Pink Floyd is! They're my father's all time favorite band. Although I think he prefers Dark Side of the Moon just slightly over The Wall.

On the Meredith issue, DH has the opinion that a lot of men want to feel like a hero, and it's a heck of a lot easier to be a hero with someone who's damaged goods, KWIM? And heck...I may be damaged, but at least I don't need a hero. DH got over his "gotta be a hero" complex years before I met him, thank goodness.

Everytime I watch this show, I think how much I enjoy it!
Its nice to hear others think the same as me about it. :-)

The writers did a great job with Izzy I thought......you could really feel the depth of her pain and I wanted so much to reach thru the screen and just stroke her hair in a caring touch.

I think Addison might be prego too although it would have been good if she talked to her hubby about trying before just surprising him. Maybe she thought it would help their relationship get closer again.

I really thought her and Derek had a chance at working it out and I liked that. I hate what he and meredith did - it just seems so idiotic to me.

Anyways, trying to decide if I will look for the new episode early online or wait.

I dont' think Addison is pregnant. I don't know where that's coming from, but I could see that she was looking very lovingly at that baby. Maybe she was upset that she WANTS a baby, but doesn't have a good enough marriage to start a family yet.

I think Meredith is going to go with McVet, and Addison is going to leave Derrick. Then, maybe McSteamy will come in and swoop up Addison and Derrick will be left pissed because now he has NO one.
