of all the things in this episode, there is one thing bugging me the most...
it would have been one thing if burke left christina "at the altar". but he didn't. he left her in the foryer, behind closed doors. there's not one person in that church who will believe that HE left HER. they will all think (and for good reason) that she was the one who flaked out in the end and devastated him so he disappeared. despite all of christina's shortcomings, i had grown to believe that she truly loved burke. i believed that despite fears and such that she accepted the big wedding and the eye brown shaving and the choker, etc because she really loved him and wanted to be his wife. but no one in that church will see that. burke was a coward. he left her in such a way that SHE will have to shoulder the judgment of both of their families and all of their friends. it will seem to everyone like she failed him, but by his own admission, he failed them both. and he gets to run away and look like some wounded, lovesick wonderful man. and that makes me SO ANGRY. |

: i have to admit, it's the introduction of Lexi Grey that has me the most hooked right now, though i think there's a lot of predictability in that route- meredith having to interact with her dad again, some weird tension and attraction with derek, not being the only 'legacy' anymore, even though Lexi is not her mother's daughter.
