Is soy ok?

I am dairy free for my dd, 5 months old today. I have been dairy free for close to a month and she is doing so well now. Is it ok for me to eat soy products? I remember reading something about soy triggering the same responce to dairy in her body. any thoughts? tia

In our experience that has been true. Both my kids are dairy allergic AND soy allergic. I would avoid it.

You can try them to test them out, but keep in mind, like pp said, soy allergy is VERY commonly found w/ dairy allergy.
