in the preview for next week, lynette's mom shows up and says something like how could you not call me when you have cancer? that doesn't sound too promising.

hopefully gabby gets out while she can.

I think she will. I heard through the grapevine that Victor - played by John Slattery - had signed on for six or eight episodes.

Season finale… a real shocker at the end!

Susan? Hmm, is anyone surprised that she was all shallow and materialistic about her wedding? Doves and a chocolate fountain! Whee!

Gaby? I give this marriage all of 10 minutes.

Bree? Control freak much? You can’t protect your kids forever.

Lynette? Definitely kick your mom out. You might survive cancer, but that bitch is gonna kill you. :

Edie? No. Please, no. I was going to say, ain’t karma a bitch after Carlos dumped her, but that last scene… it can’t be.

i think lynette and her mom will come to peace when all is said and done. they'll work it out.

the whole edie scene was a real shocker

bree's scheme ... is over the top. it will come out in end i think.

Of course Bree's cover up is going to come out in the end! It's only natural!

I hope that Gabby stays married to that prick Victor just long enough to ruin his career forever! Sealing in the Latino vote! THE NERVE!

I agree that Susan was being pretty crazy about the wedding, but at least she came to her senses. (I was cracking up when Mike kept telling her the things were a bad idea. He was calling her an unlucky klutz in a nice way!)

I thought karma was coming out to get Carlos for giving Gabby placebos (back in season 2 I think.) The last scene was so sad, I hope the first scene of the new season is the scarf ripping!

the last scene was heart breaking to look at. i thought it would be a bit more fast paced, but considering the last few episode, it was good.

i feel sorry for Gabby.
Lynette can hold her own against her mother.
It was good to see Bree.
Even though I am sick to death of Susan, period. the last minute wedding was cute and perfect. no trying to out do Ian anymore.

I just hope Gaby doesn't somehow get forced into staying in the marriage - it's hard to say just how scary those two guys are going to be.

Oh my gosh!! I knew I knew this guy from somewhere but I couldn't for the life of me remember where. Thank you, now it won't bug me anymore!
He was also Sam, Will's brother, on Will & Grace, I believe...

I think Susan redeemed herself somewhat, with the simple and sweet surprise wedding ceremony. I loved that.

I'm thinking Edie is gone for good; I mean, what else can her character do? She's already slept with every man on Wisteria Lane (except Tom ....?).

Gabby and Carlos are soooo back together.

I will miss Edie. She always had the best one-liners. I loved her scenes with Susan when they were fighting about Mike.

So Bree is pretending to be pregnant to raise Danielles baby when she gives birth. I bet Danielle did not get pregnant by Edie's nephew but by her teacher she was sleeping with, and the baby is going to be born black and then what will they do? Bree and Orson can't produce a child of a different race.

I also think Gabbi will get pregnant and assume its Victors only when she tells him she learns he's sterile and he knows she cheated. Then her and Carlos will get back together.

Not sure what to think of the Edie scene at the end. Maybe someone will come in at the last minute and save her? Or is she leaving the show? I know Nicollete Sheridan is going to be married so maybe she wanted off the show?

I don't think Gaby can get preggo; didn't she find out she's infertile after that miscarriage and the falling down the stairs?

I think that's a good call about it being the teacher's baby. Boy, would that throw their plans off!

WOW, I couldn't believe the ending with Edie! She was the character I so loved to dislike

Loved seeing Gaby and Carlos kiss!

Loved the surprise wedding! Susan can be annoying but that was really, really sweet.

I feel so bad for Lynette, as if she doesn't have enough to deal with she's got her mother thrown into the mix, when will she catch a break?

The Bree thing is interesting, looking forward to how that will play out.

Last nights epi was good!!!

I agree, I hope Edie is OK. They showed the scarf flying across the room, I guess she was stringing it up? To me it was symbolizing blood and life. I too hope it broke and she is OK

I thought the surprise wedding was so sweet, really liked that. Susan usually bugs me to no end, but that was just wonderful

I don't know, I think Lynette and her Mom might work their way through things before its too late. I think there is hope and potential there

I predict Gabby gets preggo with Carlos baby! Cheatin' on your wedding night, how very soap operish!

Glad Bree and Orsen are back, the fun starts back up. But that is soooo 1950s to hide the pregnant unwed daughter? I don't get it? That was funny, "Andrew, do kids still say "awesome"?" That is one wacky family

That was so funny!

One of my favorite parts of the show was between Carlos & the paper boy:

Paper boy (waiting to get paid): What's that?
Carlos: Birth control pills.
Paper boy: I'm gonna need cash.

Just ridiculously funny and silly!!

it's possible that edie didn't really die, but they showed her hanging there with her feet so i dunno.

i was thinking too gabby would get pregnant but i'd be surprised if her marriage to victor lasts even past the first show of the new season
post #638 of 662
I thought Susan and Mike's wedding was so sweet. I'm still a proud Susan fan.

I'm glad Bree is back. I missed her!

I'm thinking that maybe Carlos will save Edie at the last second? I don't know. That seemed so out of character for her.

Lynnette... blah. I must be the only one here who doesn't like her. She just gets on my last nerve.
Maybe Edie will be next years narrator. They need a new narrator.
Ohh that would be good. Her narrating the show. I just loved Gabbis wedding dress too
