Yay! I Ovulated!

This was my first cycle of Clomid, 50mg....I had my last pill 9 days ago, so I was thinking that it wasnt going to work and then bam! I am definately ovulating today! Yay!!! I am so happy that I dont have to go to the fertility clinic (at least at this point). I guess I am just a late ovulater in general now-my last dd was concieved during a fluke ovulation on day 24! Does anyone else O really late like that and still have a normal cycle? My last few periods have been totally normal....

YAY!! I'm starting clomid with this cycle, so I'm anxious to see what happens. I always O late, like between day 21-25, which my dr recently told me means I'm *not* ovulating. I told him that my son was conceived like that. I can buy that I may not be ovulating all the time, but to say I'm not at all....well, he's a stinker.

Um, yeah, if you are popping an egg out, it really doesnt matter when it happens, just that it does. That just seems really silly to me!
I am a little worried that if I O late and the egg gets fertilized, then how long will it take to implant really well? Cause I would have 10 days between when I ovulate and when my period would start. Do you think thats enough time?

I don't know much about shorter luteal phases, though I might start looking into them. Mine have tended to be 13 days no matter when I O, or so I thought. I've started looking back at my charts, and some were as short as 11 days, so now I'm not so sure....I think an egg can implant within the 10 days, but there's also a chance that it wouldn't...not much help, am I?
