My October Baby became a September Baby

Well, it's been an eventful week. I went for my regular 36 week checkup last Wednesday and was put on bedrest because of high BP. This happened with DS#1 at 38 weeks. So, I rested at home for one afternoon and on Thursday morning started having a major headache and blurred vision. Went to the OB/midwives and was sent to the birth center with the news that I would be induced. SOOO, Thursday night I was given a dose of a drug (can't remember the name) to rippen my cervix. It worked well, I went from 0-3 overnight. Then Friday I was given another dose of that and then had to start a pitocin IV that evening around 6pm. I didn't get to have the birth I wanted with access to the tub, walking around etc. BUT, my labor nurse was my pre-natal yoga teacher and she was an amazing help! So, our second son Nathaniel Robert was born at 8:34pm on September 15th. He was 4 lbs. 13 ozs. He's now up to 5lbs 2 oz and doing very well. He's battling some jaundice but otherwise he's great. We were worried about how he would do nursing, since the sucking reflex is one of the last things the babes learn in utero, but he's doing great. My milk came in fast and I've been able to pump a lot to build up a supply (just to have I figure it's a good idea). So we're all doing well, trying to sleep and adjust to having two at home. Hope everyone here is doing well. I'll be back with updates and pics when I can. My best to everyone!!!!
