Brianna Joan was born by c-section on Monday, September 18th (her Daddy's birthday) at 1:53 p.m. 8lbs 13 0z - 20 3/4" Long.
She was double footling breech and the doctor said that she didnt think the baby would have turned anyway so we went forward with the c-section. I was released on Thursday and we are all getting used to our new life slowly. Recovery from a c-section is tough and I'm looking forward to getting back to normal.
My milk was extremely slow coming in so I've had to suppliment with formula after some feedings
Everything did NOT go as planned as far as my 'natural' birth but we're happy she is healthy and I'm working very hard on bringing in my milk so we can eventually breastfeed 100%. This never happened to me before so I'm assuming it must have something to do with having a c-section rather than a vaginal birth.
