I am ready to begin using probiotics to help my son who is apparently allergic to something that I can not figure out. After two months on an ED I have read that I need to heal his gut. I am not entirely sure how to do this, but I have learned that probiotics are a very important start.
I have found one kind of probiotics that is made without any of the major allergens and has the strains of bacteria that are good for allergies and GI healing, but it does not need to be kept cold. I have also read that a quality probiotic should have to remain cold? Is this true?
Do you all have a recommendation for a probiotic that does NOT contain any of the 8 major allergy offenders?
Thanks,
Cindy
