I've heard different things - how do I time BD with egg white cervical mucous? I noticed it yesterday morning and DH and I didn't BD until this morning. Is this too long - could I have missed the window? What's best for TTC, before or after the EWCM?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Every day that you have EWCM, if dh's sperm count is normal. Every other day, if low sperm count.

:the EWCM is what nourishes the sperm to keep it alive and it's what helps it flow to your fallopian tubes (just got done reading this section in TCOYF lol). Once you're dry the sperm don't have any way to stay alive.

Depending on what kind of cm was present at the time the sperm could survive. Wet cm is fertile as well. I always had 5-7 days before ovulation of ewcm so I knew wheni saw it to start bd.

Oookay...interesting. I have always had 2ish days of ewcm and not too much of anything noticable before then. I conceived both of my children when the ewcm was very obvious. As far as this most recent time (we aren't trying, and we're supposedly "done") there was no noticable cm whatsoever, but within 2.5 days, the ewcm showed up. It lasted 2 days as usual. So. I don't know what to think but will patiently wait until 6 days from now.

You can also BD during watery CM. I don't produce any EWCM, but watery is considered fertile as well.

I conceived both of my children after my ewcm. Both times, I thought we were done trying for the month, but dtd for fun, and got pg. So, if we try to get pg again, I'm going to dtd during my ewcm, and for a couple days afterward too.
