Destroyed loaf of bread

My son accidentally smashed a new loaf of bread. What should I do with it. It's just sitting in my fridge right now. Croutons? Any other suggestions?

If you're looking for dessert you could make bread pudding. If you're interested in a meal, try strata.

You could whizz it in the blender to make bread crumbs, or cube it and make stuffing (save either of these in the freezer if necessary).

I'd never even heard of strata. I looked it up on allrecipes.com...sounds interesting. What do you put in yours?

You could use some of it for a Breakfast Casserole. I'll try to find the recipe that I have.
