anyone's DC have orange allergy

DS seems highly allergic to oranges. At 15 months he broke out in a full-body rash (which lasted a week) after eating two satsuma oranges. several months later, he subsequently had rashes (a few patches) on two separate occasions by eating foods with orange oil as the ingredient (one was just a teaspoon of cod liver oil with "natural orange" flavoring.) anyway, we're pretty certain that 3 reactions = allergy.

so what can an orange-allergic person NOT eat? He is okay with lemon cod liver oil, but I am afraid to give him anything else, citrus-wise. Is he likely to outgrow this allergy?? TIA

For my oldest, it means all citrus needs to be avoided. She's 12 now & it's still a problem.
